NEW INTERNACIONAL AIRPORT SALGADO FILHO
The most advanced Brazilian airport was opened in October 19th, 2001 in Porto Alegre. It comes to substitute the old terminal that was constructed in the decade of 50. The new airport has capacity to receive from 3.5 the 4 million passengers per year. The building is totally high-tech, with centered controls, rational use of energy and strengthened security. all the operations of the airport are burst from a room , since closing a gate and binding the air-conditioning until the position of an aircraft.
New the airport of Porto Alegre has three movie theatres, stores, estaurants and displays of art. The installation of the mobile and fixed bridges, the improvements in the systems of mats and luggage and the biger space are offering more quality to the passengers.
