In
2000, a museum opened that has documents, historical evidence, objects, maps,
photos, books, engravind, "charges", cartuns, covers and articles from
newspapers and megazines that are related to the Rio Grande do Sul history. The
building, that in the olden days was the mail company, was built in 1910 by the
same german arquitecture Theo Wiedersphan that planned Margs. It is the ideal
place for the people who wish to know everything about the history of the state
of Rio Grande do Sul through exhibitions, cd-roms, books and lectures.
